Restorative Yoga Classes
Cultivate mindfulness of your breathing body and mindfulness of your deep and spacious mind through supported stillness in restorative asana. This class offers a special opportunity to invite ease and release both physically and mentally.
Restorative yoga is a soothing, contemplative self-care practice in which one's body is supported in seated or supine yoga postures, stimulating the parasympathetic (rest and digest) nervous system. The health benefits of restorative yoga include slower heart rate, lower blood pressure, reduced anxiety, increase in good cholesterol, achieving and maintaining healthy weight, better sleep, improved digestion, and a greater sense of well-being, centeredness, and clarity.
Sundays 6:45-8:15pm, Restorative Yoga
Fridays 7:30-8:45pm, Sweet Relief: Vinyasa + Restorative Yoga (Live Music on the first Friday of each month)
"Marlie is everything you want in a yoga teacher. She is thoughtful, specific, and I am never worried that I won’t know what to do next when I am in an inversion. Her Stars of the Lid filled Restorative Yoga class is like the nap time you never appreciated as a child. It takes the edge right off a Sunday night."
